Battery technology has come a long way recently. We now offer rechargeable battery lift systems that can be charged with plug in chargers very similar to your cell phone. However, our batteries will last months or longer between charges. Most have been tested to last over 500 charge cycles - so they will last decades.
Most interior applications can utilize low voltage motors - 12 to 24 volts. Low voltage motors can be as powerful as high voltage motors and are as whisper quiet. They can be operated via wall switches, hand held remotes, voice controls, or via your smart home controller. Wire selection and location is an important element, so get us in at an early stage of your project.

A simple inexpensive hub converts commands from Alexa, Google, of Apple to our wireless protocols to move your shades up or down.
Wireless remote controls come in a wide variety of options. We offer single channel, multi-channel handheld remotes with or without timers or schedules. We also offer wireless wall switches that fit standard Decora wall switch plates in single or multi-channels - you can't misplace these.
We offer Wind, Sun, Temperature, Rain sensors that trigger your shades to go up or down, in or out. When winds gusts are strong enough that it may damage your screen shades, our sensors trigger them to raise up safely.
When the sun rises in the morning, our sun sensors will drop your shades to protect your home and furnishings from the harsh sun and heat.
When showers begin to fall during the day, we can raise your shades so they don't get soaked.
If you would rather the sun not heat up your home, we can have your window coverings drop down during the day making your home more comfortable without you lifting a finger.
